What an exciting week for The Hungie Couple as we published two voiceover reels from outside our local area. We started with the Terrain Cafe. This little gem was located in the Philadelphia suburb of Glen Mills just 45 minutes outside of the city.
If you’re looking to add a truly unique experience to your spring calendar, dining in the tents at Woodland Village at Terrain Café should be at the top of your list. Nestled within a charming garden setting, these private tents offer an unforgettable way to enjoy a meal outdoors — perfect for a special gathering with friends or family.
Reservations are available now through the end of spring at shopterrain.com. Simply click on the “Reservations” tab, choose your preferred time, and select the “Woodland Village Tent” option. Each tent comfortably accommodates up to six guests, and you’ll have a cozy two-hour window to relax and savor your experience.
Prefer to dine indoors? No problem! Terrain Café is also a full-service restaurant that’s just as stunning inside. With its lush greenery, rustic decor, and garden-inspired design, the indoor dining area feels like stepping into a botanical paradise.
While you’re there, don’t miss exploring the garden center and gift shop. You’ll find beautiful seasonal centerpieces, living gifts, and one-of-a-kind designs — the perfect way to bring a little of Terrain’s magic home with you.
Whether you choose to dine under the sky or among the blooms indoors, a visit to Terrain Café this spring promises a memorable and inspiring experience.
Next up- If you’re a foodie on the hunt for an epic meal, we’ve found the ultimate diner just 45 minutes north of New York City — and trust us, it’s worth every minute of the drive. Orangetown Diner, tucked away in Orangeburg, New York, serves up mind-blowing milkshakes, a dream-worthy menu of adult beverages, and foodie-approved dishes that left us wanting more.
We had been eyeing Orangetown Diner for quite some time, and when we finally made the trip, it exceeded every expectation.
Now, let’s talk about the stars of the show: the milkshakes. We threw tradition out the window and started our meal with dessert first — because how could we not? I went for the Funfetti Wild Shake, and it was truly love at first sight: colorful, fun, and as delicious as it looked. Meanwhile, the Cheesecake Wild Shake stole the spotlight, topped with an entire slice of rich, sinful New York-style cheesecake. These shakes aren’t just over-the-top; they’re an experience.
Of course, we didn’t stop there — we went all in. For our main course, we devoured the Vodka Chicken Parmesan, which featured a perfectly balanced sauce and a portion size big enough to share (though you probably won’t want to). We also tried a creative twist on a diner classic: a burger loaded with tender braised short rib, crispy bacon, melted cheddar, and sautéed mushrooms. Every bite was pure perfection.
Orangetown Diner isn’t just a place to grab a quick bite — it’s a destination in itself. If you’re planning your next New York adventure, make sure to add this spot to your itinerary. We’re so glad we finally made the visit, and we’re already dreaming about our next trip back.
Please come back next week as we take a look at some exciting brunch spots. Until then, keep exploring!
