Bun Busterz: Gourmet Hot Dogs in the Lehigh Valley
We didn’t expect to be obsessed with a hot dog joint… but here we are.
Bun Busterz in Easton is flipping the script on everything you think you know about hot dogs. This spot serves up gourmet creations that look like edible art, stacked high with bold, flavorful toppings and paired with some of the most outrageous sides we’ve ever had.
The process is easy: pick a signature dog or build your own. Choose your dog, pick a bun, pile on the toppings and sauces—the possibilities are endless.
Here’s what we tried:
- Chicago Dog – Their take on the classic, served on a poppyseed bun with all the essential toppings.
- Philly Dog – Yes, it comes topped with an actual cheesesteak. And yes, it’s amazing.
- Bacon Smash Dog – Imagine a smashburger, but in hot dog form.
- The Big Bowl – A chaotic masterpiece: fries, mac & cheese, cheesesteak, mozzarella sticks—all in one bowl.
We wrapped things up with the PB&J Frenchie: banana + PB&J on cinnamon French toast. It’s as wild (and tasty) as it sounds.

Saperavi: Discovering Georgian Cuisine in NYC
If you haven’t tried Georgian food yet, make it a priority. This cuisine is packed with flavor, comfort, and loads of cheese—and it deserves more love.
While in NYC, we made a reservation at Saperavi and were blown away. Every dish was warm, rich, and completely satisfying. Here’s what we sampled:
- Adjaruli Khachapuri – The iconic cheese boat: golden homemade dough filled with gooey Georgian cheese and egg yolk.
- Imeruli Khachapuri – Their take on a cheese pizza: flat dough topped with that same irresistible cheese blend.
- Beef Khinkali – Traditional dumplings that were perfectly pleated and packed with juicy, seasoned beef.
If you’re heading to NYC soon, add Saperavi to your list. This is comfort food on a whole new level.

Chickies Rock: A Quick Hike with a View in Lancaster County
Need a nature break? Chickies Rock is the perfect short hike that delivers big views.
Located in Lancaster County, this trail is just half a mile long and mostly flat, with the last part taking you over a rocky patch to reach the overlook. The path follows an old trolley line through the woods, and when you reach the top, you’re greeted with a breathtaking panorama of the Susquehanna River and surrounding towns.
Not into hiking? No problem—Breezyview Overlook is nearby and offers similar views without the walk.
