Bloody Marys, Screwdrivers & Brunch with Personality – Paxtang Grill (Harrisburg, PA)
We thought we knew brunch… until we hit up Paxtang Grill for their Bloody Mary Saturday. This isn’t your average mimosa moment. We’re talkin’ screwdrivers topped with donuts and grilled cheese, and Bloody Marys stacked with shrimp, bacon, and pickle skewers that double as a meal.
Oh, and did we mention the peanut butter pie?
What we tried:
🥓 Spicy loaded Bloody Mary with fried shrimp & bacon
🍊 Screwdriver topped with mini chocolate donuts and a full grilled cheese (wild, right?)
🍔 Smash burger with bacon, American cheese & smash sauce on brioche
🥧 Decadent peanut butter pie with whipped topping and chocolate drizzle
If you like your brunch loud, flavorful, and fun—this one’s calling your name.
📍3323 Derry St, Harrisburg, PA

🍻 50+ Craft Brews & Backyard Vibes – Dauphin County Brewfest
What’s better than hitting your favorite local brewery? Hitting 50+ of them in one place.
We spent the weekend soaking up good vibes at the 13th Annual Dauphin County Brewfest at Fort Hunter Park. From live music and food vendors to unlimited samples of PA’s best brews, this festival is a must for beer lovers.
Favorites from the day:
🥓 Bacon on a Stick from Gnawjaw (yes, it’s a thing)
🌮 Brisket & buffalo chicken tacos from 717 Taco
🍺 Too many craft beer samples to count (no regrets)
📍Fort Hunter Park, Harrisburg, PA
This event is part of the Hershey Harrisburg Brew Barons Beer Trail, so even if you missed the fest, you can still sample many of the participating breweries throughout the year.
Designated driver tickets are available if you’re tagging along but not sampling.
