The Ultimate Couples Weekend at Hershey

The Ultimate Couples Weekend at Hershey

We recently had a little downtime… yes, that’s hard to believe and when we were both trying to think of something fun and thrilling yet relaxing to do, we said “Hershey” at the exact same time, without skipping a beat. We keep telling you: Hershey isn’t just for kids. Here’s how we spent the ultimate couples weekend.

Where We Stayed: The Villas at Hotel Hershey

We stayed at the Villas at Hotel Hershey, and guys, this room was everything. The Villas have the feel of your own private apartment. The bed was so comfortable I’m pretty sure I could’ve stayed in it until next week

and the bathroom had a shower so big it took up half the room.

Our stay included admission to Hersheypark and Fast Track passes and we took full advantage of both. You know where we headed next and the hotel provides a shuttle that will drop you off right at the front gate (the shuttle runs every 30-40 minutes).

Hersheypark, Fast-Tracked

Those Fast Track passes came in handy. Skipping the lines, something I genuinely hate standing in, meant we got to hit ride after ride as fast as we wanted. We rode everything including the Great Bear

and Twizzlers Twisted Gravity

And we ate well too. A few standouts:

  • A Skyrush Dog from Berks, loaded with shawarma-spiced chicken and tzatziki sauce

  • The 10th Birthday Celebration King-Size Shake from Simply Chocolate, genuinely delicious

The Extras Worth Your Time

Our ticket also included some park extras we made sure not to skip:

  • Sweet Land of Liberty, a live music show in the air-conditioned Chevrolet Music Box Theatre
Front of the music box theater with old school marquee
  • ZooAmerica – as certified animal lovers, this was right up our alley. We could’ve spent all day in there.

Poolside Piña Coladas

Back at the villas, we spent the afternoon lounging by the pool, and look, this pool is a dream. Piña coladas, daiquiris, the whole thing. There’s also an adults-only pool if you’re looking for something a little quieter.

Dinner at Trevi 5

We got ready and headed to Hotel Hershey’s on-site Italian restaurant, Trevi 5. We ordered our new favorite drink, the Hershey’s Kisses Chocolate Signature Martini, along with a lobster pasta and a pork chop parmesan. The desserts were heavenly.

The Verdict

We went back to the room and crashed immediately. What a day! A solid 10 out of 10 couples day.

So, when are you going to plan your trip to Hershey?
